DESCRIPTION :

The Action 118A is an active horn Subwoofer system designed to accompany the Action full-range cabinets. It uses a single DAS Audio 18LX long-excursion driver incorporating a 4-inch voice coil powered by a class-D amplifier with switch mode power supply (SMPS), digital signal processing (DSP) and a 3.2kW peak power rating. The amplifier has an EQ switch to allow selection of a Deep response or a Loud response.

The system includes two balanced inputs with stereo filtered output connections for satellite systems. The variable crossover ranges from 100Hz-160Hz and can be defeated to offer stereo ‘loop-thru’ connections. A gain control and polarity reverse feature increase user control over the system.
